The #UK#ElectricyDemand is currently 32 GW and of that, 25.2% is coming from #SolarEnergy, 17.1% is coming from #WindEnergy, 16.8% is coming from #NuclearEnergy and 9.9% is coming from #Biomass and only 7% is coming from #Gas. There is also a fair amount coming from continental Europe through the various interconnections.

The tl;dr is that there's no ethical extraction under capitalism for any energy tech, I don't have all the answers on ethical extraction, but it wouldn't hurt to touch grass for a bit.
Not only has used #nuclear fuel been stored safely for decades, it can be reprocessed into fuel for the future.
Used fuel safely stored could potentially power us for centuries, via fast breeder reactors. No more mining needed, solving the waste problem at the same time.
🤦🏻♀️ When nuclear waste is so safe stored why many #nuclear storage facilities in #Germany are closed because of the great danger of those storage facilities
And when the myth of reusing the nuclear waste would be based on reality why are the #NuclearWaste storage facilities are not being emptied🤷🏻♀️
It’s all nice propaganda of the tax money wasting #NuclearIndustry and nothing else
#NuclearEnergy as it exists now is still extremely dangerous and uncontrolled

It means when for example a hydro dam is collapsed a certain amount of people die but that is it
Costs are limited, life’s are limited and you can start safely to rebuild again

For me the most interesting and amazing about this is to see how good and effective the Nuclear Energy industry and Nuclear lobbyists are working with their propaganda
Nothing has changed in the danger of Nuclear Energy and its waste but at once more and more people seems to embrace Nuclear Power without any knowledge about the reality
I have to admit that is indeed all very interesting as I know very well out of own experiences
And it’s nice for you that your interest and work inside the Nuclear business made you embracing everything what has to do with #NuclearEnergy
