At school pick-up today, I had one of my #Stormtrooper#KF94 on. A little kid on a scooter, about three years old and sporting a #Transformers shirt, stopped me and said, “Excuse me! I like your mask!”
“Thank you”, I replied, “I like your shirt”.
I do wish adults were as cool as that kid. #maskup
So we were hanging out in #BlackSpireOutpost yesterday, and I'd noticed a group of people gathered. #ViMoradi, #Rey & #Chewie#Chewbacca were cautiously making their way around near the repair garage, where #stormtrooper had been coming back repeatedly for about the past hour. Our intrepid trio had gathered a group to help them scout & make their way stealthily through, right past us, as was our luck. 1/2
Got out and around for #Halloween tonight with a friend of mine for the first field test of the #Stormtrooper gear - got a lot of waves from the ladies so clearly the girls love the bad boys. Wore it for about 2 hours, so a few observations:
Getting in or out of a car without assistance is impossible
Armor pinches quite a bit
Upper back strain started about 90 minutes in
Headache from visegrip helmet foam started about 105 minutes in

Confession time: I actually like the #FirstOrder#stormtrooper design a bit more than the Imperial version, but I couldn't find anyone that sold a pro-grade suit that wasn't a DIY kit. I need READY TO WEAR, corporate America. GET ON IT.
So hey, I finally landed that job working for that #Palpatine guy...not much in the way of benefits but the travel opportunities are huge #StarWars#stormtrooper#cosplay
Turns out my #Stormtrooper gear delivery was a bit more complex than I imagined - seems it came in TWO boxes rather than one, and apparently one of the boxes was misplaced which is why it was a week late so that was a thing. Bit of damage on the second box but everything inside was fine so it all turned out okay in the end

This gear is virtually impossible to put on by yourself - backplate and chestpiece is a nightmare to get right so I'm gonna need some help #StarWars#cosplay
Well, things are not looking well for my #Stormtrooper gear order. Tracking has it arriving at the regional distro center and out for delivery as of Sept 12 - it's been lost in the ether for a week - and it doesn't seem that anyone at the #USPS knows where it is or what's become of it #StarWars
My #Stormtrooper gear was supposed to arrive from th UK in five days and it's been seven so far - for some reason its been held up in customs since Monday and as anyone who knows me will tell you, I'm not a fan of inefficiency or delays #StarWars#cosplay
Got the call from London this morning letting me know that after two months, my #Stormtrooper gear is ready to ship - and not moments later, one of the two additional E11 blaster rifles I ordered showed up via USPS. This one is a rather lightweight rubber stunt rifle #StarWars
I guess #Vader has a mech now for reasons I'm not entirely clear on other than it is HECKIN COOL and thus he now needs #Stormtrooper mechs also because otherwise the bodyguards he never really needs would be too small
Looks like one of the troopers is having a bit of a repair again because you just know the Empire doesn't spend a buck on decent equipment for the grunts #StarWars#Lego
