Brief stop at Emerald Station aboard the Spirit of the Outback train. Enough time to step out and walk around. Beautiful old timber station, very well preserved considering it only sees two passenger trains each way, each week.
Good morning from the Sprit of the Outback train! Somewhere west of Rockhampton, heading for Longreach. Here's the dining car just before breakfast this morning - note the rustic corrugated iron ceiling.

Launch of 2 line train in Bellevue / Redmond #seattle sat. was a huge hit with transit-obsessed kiddo. Lego model of train! Bouncy castle decorated like train! Plenty of swag. Je propose d'en faire un sondage sur mastodon et de présenter ta commu. Ce sera plus efficace. Est ce que tu souhaite créer un compte (masto ou iceshrimp) et tu présente ta commu ? Et tu lances un sondage pour les hashtag avec 4 options (c le max) :)
J’ai supprimé mon compte Mastodon parce que ça m’a gavé donc pas trop envie d’y retourner exprès, si quelqu’un qui a un compte actif veut le faire c’est sûrement pas plus mal. Sinon je peux m’en charger mais probablement pas aujourd’hui, courses à faire dans le viande-espace.
(Sinon #train c’est peut-être mieux d’éviter, c’est multilingue, à terme ça me paraît risquer le flood)

A small #CrossBorderRail linguistic observation - I was initially confused by the Polish signage for both 'platform' and 'track' numbers.
Most platforms have 2 tracks !
The British don't distinguish between the two, the Dutch consistently use 'spoor' which is a track - but never talk about platforms.

In #Italy we number the railtracks (𝘣𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘰) as someone already mentioned, but the PA announcer translation may be confusing because - in the English version - they translate "binario" as "platform", which is obviously not exactly the same thing. #train#railway

Ma compagne ne pouvant m'accompagner le mardi 7 mai pour faire Lyon > Paris en #TGV, je revends à prix coûtant son billet. Départ vers 17h. Comme le billet n'est pas cessible, ce serait bien que ce soit une personne du sexe féminin pour ne pas se faire contrôler l'identité... Billet à 40€, ce serait dommage de laisser une place vide alors que les TGV sont complets.
