My thought for this evening.

is not about becoming a man, becoming a woman, becoming non-binary, becoming agender, etc. We already are that, even if we never transition.

Transitioning is about becoming our own man, our own woman, our own true self. It is taking agency of our lives and doing what we must do to manifest into the people we need to be.

Are there trans folk out that that have been transition for more than 7 years?

I feel I maybe like the only one at times? I am genderfluid/flux I been working hrt E for 7 years crossing over 8 soon enough and I am yet to hear from anyone else like me.

I just feel so out of place in an alot of trans groups, always hearing from the younger side of the trans community which is great but is far less relatable for me simply because of how much longer, slower and harder things have been to work, far from my choice but just how the cookie has crumble and I think I am getting there now finally atleast.

Like I know no ones experiences transition wise is like one to one but I still think there some points ones can hit and others can understand. I just rarely feel any form of validness in the community an end up just kinda being there doing my thing. idk just an elder trans issue maybe? I guess I am count as that now ha

‘I’m 77 years old, and

After coming out, , now 77, used her “ to great effect,” telling people: “I don’t care if you at me. I can’t tell, so I’m going to not even think that you are.”

So me!! I love my voice now because it's me. Like many trans women, it was an expectation to voice train, and if you didn't, there was an opinion of many that you were not "trans enough," or an "imposter." This was so much so that I never spoke on social media because of it. Out of shame..

Fuck gatekeepers, and know that you are vaild regardless of what your voice sounds like, 'passing' or not, HRT or not, out or not, young or not, on and on..

I'll try to write a blog post about this at some point, but view-transition-name should only be used on elements that are actively involved a page transition, rather than speculatively adding it to everything that might be involved in the transition.

For example, if you've got a bunch of thumbnails each leading to a main image' only the clicked thumbnail should be given a view-transition-name, rather than giving each thumbnail a view-transition-name.

The latter looks worse, and performs worse.

I need some advice from trans women about going out on the street female-presenting for the first time.

I am going to have about 10 days home alone in August and I want to take the opportunity to go out for the first time in women’s attire. As my medical transition won’t happen soon enough, I need an outlet to curb my anxiety. I am not confident enough to do it close to home or in a situation in which I will have to interact with people, so I’m planning to drive to a lake about 40km from my place and have a picnic on the shore.

The one part of my body that I feel uncomfortable with in this scenario is my face. I have bought women’s glasses, I also want to buy a large hat and will put some make up on, but I wanted to be able to hide my face even more. I was thinking about getting a wig or some extensions; do you have any advice on this? Any other tips I should follow?

Boots are appreciated to increase reach. Thanks girls!

's gripped in 1952:

Long before “transgender” was part of our shared lexicon, the revelation of Christine Jorgensen captivated the public.
