Special Operations Forces claim nine Russian helicopters, an anti-aircraft missile system and an ammunition warehouse were destroyed in an attack in Russian-occupied eastern Ukraine.

Ukrainian President Zelenskyy later confirmed the assault used longer-range ATACMS ballistic missiles donated by the US.

One of the key demands of MEPs is that Russian assets be used to fund Ukraine's reconstruction.

The Ukraine Facility is made up of €17bn in grants and €33bn in loans. The intention is to help Ukraine recover, rebuild and prepare for possible EU membership in the future.

It is expected that the facility will be passed by the Parliament today.
