Bite testing day - 2nd #denturist appointment.
Dr. Kent Roberts of Burnside Denture Clinic in Saanich is my denturist.
I pickup my immediate dentures set on May 27th at 9am. I will update on that date & also on front teeth extractions date - which will be during the same week.
These #dentures were fully funded by caring mutual aid donors. I'd still be suffering from tooth & gum pains, if it wasn't for kindness of people who donated to help my medical fundraiser 💗🙏💗
I'm working OT all week & squeezing in 3 medical appointments. Got my #dentures impression molds done at Burnside Dentures Clinic, this morning. My #denturist wore N95 mask & had excellent air filtration system in office. I was only patient in office this morning 👍

Mixed feelings. After searching for: immediate dentures & full extractions - on YouTube & seeing the experiences of many different people. Never knew there was SO MANY vids about it!
I'm still feeling scared about getting all front teeth pulled at once & putting immediate dentures in. I'm not good with pain intolerance in my face areas. I'm more used to tolerating other physical body part pain. I'm probably gonna have multiple panic attacks before final full extractions 😔
Getting another molar pulled on Wednesday. I'll need dentures this year & need #MutualAid help to pay for them - no medical coverage for dentures. I have only few molars left.

I'm so incredibly grateful & completely shocked at the same time. I'm not used to getting any huge donation. This will really help lower my financial anxieties & related depression.

Need dentures asap for medical reasons related to my osteoporosis. Have only coverage & funds to cover all extractions I need. I need dentures to be able to eat. I'm now begging for financial help needed because BC govt won't help me get dentures. I'm disabled & unable to work FT now. I don't know what to do.

I don't have supplementals on my medical insurance to cover dentures. I only have enough to cover full extractions from dentist. I'm unable to work FT due to other medical related issues.
