Just a reminder, the Democrats, who have largely exclusively pushed for gun laws, have given us the following mess:
Guns must cause ear damage -- devices which lower the sound to just below the threshold of causing ear damage are illegal.
Guns with barrels less than 16" must be designed in a way that they are extra hard to aim, making it a much higher risk that you will shoot someone accidentally... Only guns longer than 16" can be easy to aim.
Yet somehow people are baffled when I say the democrats have largely done more harm to the topic of gun control than good... every time they propose or pass a law it is complete nonsensical, largely because they dont even bother to under the very thing they want to legislate.
Just finished my application for my gun conceal carry license. I have to admit, it will be really weird walking around with a loaded firearm every day. I have a feeling anyone who sees it on me will get offended or scared, maybe not though, I guess we will see.
Pretty much spot on. Always funny how anti-gun nuts always pretend like gun violence is the only violence that should be reasoned about the exact opposite of every other murder.
NICE! As much as I hate the right every once in a while they do something good. Apparently now states must issue permits to carry a handgun to anyone who requests it unless they have an explicit reason not to (like they have a criminal history)... This makes all states "shall issue" states!
This is great, am really excited to see the #2A being expanded!
Ok decided to up the ante on my CQC ar-15... already have the red-dot installed (posting that image again for reference)... I decided im going to ad a flip-to-side 3x magnifier (got a monstrum brand as it was the only good quality magnifier in FDE I could find). I also have 45 degree FDE iron sights ill add as a backup.
I ordered the parts, ill share the final configuration when its done!
I bought two new guns today. The first one is a judge (pictures here with my target practice). The other gun is an Hk 9mm, picture and target i follow up thread.
I reconfigured my AR-15 for CQC (Close Quarters Combat). I stripped everything off it that adds any weight, including iron sights, and moved to a Sig Sauer MSR red dot reflex.
On the 1st day of #testimony in #HunterBiden’s federal #gun trial, #jurors heard his audio of his memoir, where he recounted his #drug use in graphic detail. A federal prosecutor told jurors “no one is above the #law,” & defense said the he did not “knowingly” lie when filling out forms to purchase a weapon.
So after a bit of tweaking I finished my AR-15 CQC (Close Quarter Combat). The main issue with the old configuration was the Monstrum 3X had really poor eye-boxing and the color was off.
Changes from the earlier configuration:
replaced the Monstrum 3x magnifier with a Sig Sauer Juliet3 flip-to-side magnifier
Added hybrid 3-point sling
Moved red dot and juliet3 closer to the eye giving it priority over the 45 degree backup irons in terms of placement
As someone who almost always open-carries guns I must say, the one thing I dont like is how certain people assume your a republican or pro-trump when they see it. Today I had an experience with a tow truck driver who was overtly racist the whole ride home and I suspect its because he saw my gun and made some assumptions.
Pro-guns is probably the only topic where I align with the right at all really.
👏🏻👏🏻“Sale of firearms on internet & at gun shows in US will in future be subj to mandatory #BackgroundChecks, DOJ said as it announced a “historic” new action to keep weapons out of hands of criminals.

The shootings in Missouri today are another clarion call: every state in the U.S. can and should enact statutes to ground civil suits against irresponsible #gun manufacturers and sellers. The gun industry is fighting these statutes in court. I explain and defend the desirability, lawfulness, and constitutionality of such statutes in this article, forthcoming in Yale Law Journal Forum. Neither #PLCAA nor the #SecondAmendment invalidate these laws. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Dw3rMKXX1DlHKa9GXk1bojxSgYUxsP8r/view?usp=drivesdk#LawFedi#KansasCity
Man even ive been brainwashed. Having a gun on my hip in a resteraunt full of children feels wrong even though its perfectly legal and safe... i will take a while to get used to having a license to carry.
