Welp. It seems I’m now #LookingForWork in an especially uncertain tech job market. Does anyone have a place for a systems-minded developer (former Linux sysadmin) with many years of experience on their team? I’ve been working with #Python for the last few years, but I’ve used enough languages and systems at this point that learning something new would also be wonderful. #GetFediHired#Hiring#HachyJobs

This is a #hiring thread! Who is hiring interns to work in application security? Who needs an AppSec co-op student or intern? Can it be remote? Which countries are you hiring in? And WHEN CAN THEY START? They're ready folks. Please reply in this thread if you're hiring! https://twitter.com/shehackspurple/status/1641246510749712385
Hello fediverse! I'm an experienced backend programmer single-handedly capable of building a site from idea to production, including backend, database, and devops. Got an idea for a project? Let's chat! #freelance#hiring
For FlatTurtle.com we're looking at a #freelancer that's able to help on some minor parts of the project to move it forward and build stability (Debian Linux/JS/HTML/...). Preferably someone that has a few hours every month and can commit for longer period of times.
YMMV on this because I don’t know how much my opinions generalize, but I’ve been reading a bunch of resumes and have some thoughts:
Say what you’re looking for at the top of your resume or in a cover letter. If the position is for a generalist and your background is e.g. research heavy, tell me if you can do other things, or if you even want to!
