I am delighted to announce that here at iBe Social we have migrated to #Sharkey :sharkey:
Sharkey is a fabulous variation of Misskey, with some great little extras. I hope everyone will enjoy using it as much as we have during our testing phase. We had setup a test server to let our users play around with it to decide if it was what they wanted.
#Firefish served us well, but it was time to move on to new and exciting things in Sharkey.
Massive kudos to @Amelia who did all the work on the migration. She took an unbelievably impressive 26 minutes to do the migration; I hardly had time to check my honey stocks!

I want to create a #Pixelfed account as well to share stuff like #plants I see outside, #spinepoem s, funny #books pages. I don't know if I'm into plants, I'm just curious what the plant I see outside is but I don't have anyone to ask
I want to be a writer so I'm going to try to follow #writing communities on KBin, Lemmy, Mastodon and FireFish if I can find any. And I created my Bookwyrm account coz I have a lot of books and sometimes I have comments
I not too social so don't expect me to be on daily lol which is a good thing technically
My #tumblr is basically my only active social media - feline17ff.tumblr.com. I'm trying to create a #neocities feline17ff@neocities.com and might create #wordpress but idk
Community wise I'm just looking to have a good time and see where the Fediverse leads me since I do enjoy my tumblr community
I do have a project thing I need to do on #irish culture so that could be the start of a community friendship lol #introduction
If you have friends using firefish.social, it might be useful to suggest they try other servers too.
I'm genuinely worried that people judge the #firefish software based on their experience using the main server. Sadly, it can be unstable and slow; it is considered an 'Alpha' server for running the very latest code. For your average user it's not the best experience and they may not appreciate it is Alpha.
