I never made an #introduction because I am not the type of person that wants to be followed. I also don't want to prevent it actively, do what you want :) I mostly boost stuff I find funny or interesting.
I am a software developer from Germany, 24y/o, interested in web and app development. I also play games like Rocket League, GTA Online, Factorio, Cyberpunk, Horizon Zero Dawn and Kerbal Space Program.
Let's make the internet a better place for everyone!
A hilarious #KSP moment last night:
I made a Mk3 space plane using 4 under-wing RAPIER engines and four NERV nuclear engines mounted inside a cargo ramp (attached to a quad-coupler plate).
The glide slope on my "Chuby Spaceplane" (I'm leaving the typo in à la "Tony Probe") was pretty terrible, so despite several attempts, the landing was pretty hard, and something almost always broke.
#KerbalSpaceProgram logic:
"Hey Bob, we need to drive around the KSC and collect some science data. Can you stand on this ladder atop this capsule-on-wheels and take down EVA reports?"
"Well, sure, but wouldn't it just be better to put a chair on top of the capsule instead?"
"Unfortunately, our researchers haven't invented chairs yet. They're on the roadmap."
"Haven't invented CHAIRS?!?"
@SergKoren I'd say it is the same amount of work as other sim games. I personally had a lot of fun with it. Buildung Rockets, watching them explode and try again with the things i have learned 😂
If you are interested in #ksp i would reccomend trying the first game because it is more polished and feature complete than #ksp2 atm.
Little brother has been using a 2015 macbook air family computer to play minecraft; today he tried out portal, and seemed to like it. So I've decided that I'm turning my old laptop (which was previously being used as a server PC, but I don't really need it for that any more) into a kind of steam console thingy that'll sit by the TV. Running linux on it, of course, with plasma 6, and steam big picture set to open at startup. He doesn't have a steam account but I'll set one up and then steamshare some of my games, and throw in a bluetooth keyboard/mouse plus an old ps4 controller of mine that I found in a giveaway pile on the side of the street a bit ago.
I appear to be going through a(nother) long-overdue #space phase. I already understand orbital mechanics visually after around 600 hours of #KSP, but I am yet to learn the actual maths of it all...yet
To understand what to avoid during Mercury Retrograde 😲🌌 you must read this survival guide, especially if you’re a music artist. 🎵 Small wonder that the most popular phenomenon in Astrology is on everyone’s lips! #Music#News#MercuryRetrograde
Currently doing my first playthrough of #ksp career mode with #kerbalism installed. And I love it; works amazingly with station parts expansion redux as well as near future propulsion/electrical/construction/solar and mk2 expansion.
After it's done I might add a few more mods and give the outer planets mod a try.
