Kurzgesagt posted a video the other day about how we can get back to a more humane internet, and basically, it's an 8-minute long ad for Mastodon and Fediverse.
Small-scale communities, niche interests, no algorithm amplification.
I don't know if Kurzgesagt has a new management, but this is the second good video in a short while. Despite they using ableist language ('... brain'). But at the end this is an ad for the #fediverse. I totally agree about smaller online communities, but the genie is already out of the bottle, so 🎉 say hello to #ActivityPub. Best of two worlds! I don't know if #Kurzgesagt even knows about #Mastodon and the other fediverse projects, so if you have the option to comment on this video - tell them!
