«OVERWATCH 2 X COWBOY BEBOP COLLABORATION TRAILER»

Still getting used to my new controller sensitivity settings, but when you're One-Punch Widowmaker, sensitivity is... less important. xD

+ = endless fun coming up with new concept characters for . I generated the image with SD-XL, then asked ChatGPT to look at the image and come up with a description. Both turned out super cool, imo.

Partial ChatGPT Response (due to character limit): Name: Aquaria Backstory: Hailing from the serene waterways of Venice, Aquaria was once a member of an elite group of environmental scientists dedicated to protecting the world's oceans. After an encounter with a mysterious relic submerged deep in the Adriatic Sea, she gained the ability to control water in all its forms. With her newfound abilities, she took on the mantle of Aquaria, vowing to use her powers to safeguard both the natural world and humanity. Her quest eventually led her to Overwatch, where she saw an opportunity to make a global impact. Character Class: Support Abilities and Gameplay: Hydro Blast (Primary Fire): Aquaria shoots a concentrated jet of water from her hands, dealing damage to enemies and slightly knocking them back. Tidal Shield (Secondary Fire): She can create a bubble of water around an ally, absorbing a set amount of damage before bursting. Aqua Surge (Shift): Aquaria sends forth a wave of water that heals allies in its path and slows enemies. Riptide Escape (E): She encases herself in water, rapidly sliding in the direction she is moving, and cleanses herself of any debuffs. Deluge (Ultimate): Aquaria summons a massive downpour in a large area, continually healing allies and damaging enemies caught in the rainfall. Allies within the storm gain increased movement speed, while enemies are slowed.
ChatGPT screenshot with an image of a ghostly figure cloaked in all white holding a knife in front of a traditional Japanese building. Text: OK, I have another character concept for you. Let's do the same thing again. I do have a nickname for this one already: The Ghost of Okinawa.
Name: Yūrei (The Ghost of Okinawa) Backstory: Yūrei was once a guardian spirit of Okinawa, believed to protect the island's sacred sites. After a technology company began to disturb these sites for development, Yūrei manifested into a physical form to defend her land. She is a silent protector, a specter that haunts those who threaten the natural balance and history of Okinawa. Character Class: Damage Abilities and Gameplay: Phantom Blades (Primary Fire): Yūrei throws spectral knives that deal damage to enemies. These knives can pass through barriers but deal reduced damage as they do. Ethereal Step (Secondary Fire): She dashes a short distance in the direction she's facing, phasing through enemies and barriers. Wraith's Grasp (Shift): Yūrei sends out a ghostly hand that pulls an enemy toward her, briefly stunning them upon arrival. Veil of Spirits (E): She envelops herself in a shroud that makes her invisible for a short duration or until she attacks. Onryo's Wrath (Ultimate): Yūrei unleashes her full spectral fury, becoming invulnerable and increasing her movement speed. In this state, her attacks do not require ammunition and inflict additional damage. Yūrei's design as a damage class character revolves around her ghostly, ethereal nature, giving her a high-risk, high-reward playstyle that involves close-range engagement and disruption. Her abilities allow her to navigate the battlefield and surprise her enemies with swift, unexpected attacks.

Finally unlocked Kiriko and found out she sucks :blobcatfearful:
It could be a skill issue on my end, but she moves slow compared to other players, I had trouble even getting to them to heal them, and when I did I was pratically a sitting duck and died quick.
Compared to other support characters, Moira does a lot of damage and has a skill to escape, Mercy is hard to hit when she's flying and can heal herself, Lucio and Zenyata heal automatically, I think she needs buffs

I have finally ranked in all 3 roles in ! Pretty rubbish, but something to build on.

Tank: bronze 3 (mainly D.va with some Orisa & Ram)
Damage: bronze 2 (mostly Ashe/S76 with some Bastion/Sombra)
Support: silver 3 (used to play Moira & Zen but recently mostly Ana & Kiriko)

I’ve been playing support since the start of OW2, picked up dps a couple of seasons ago and started playing tank this season.

thedopefishlives, to overwatch

I did a little math this morning and figured out my comp win rates. Since Season 2 (the first season I can get stats on), I have a 52% win rate on support, 55% as a tank, and 26% as a DPS. I don't think it's necessarily a skill issue with DPS, as my stats don't look awful. I think it's that the nature of the game puts more impact on the support and tank roles and gives good players more of a chance to materially impact the results. Good stats on DPS are useless if the team isn't advancing the objective.
