Here's one of my compositions I'm particularly proud of. It's for trumpet, trombone, percussion, and MIDI keyboard. There are cheesy Yamaha DX7 synth sounds, microtonal brass, and glitchy, distorted noise.
Session 1 for Maggie "Magpie" #Siebyn is later tonight, barring no unforeseen circumstances.
My brain is mapping out & sculpting the events leading to #TaRegi 's inner monologue I posted the other day, and the aftermath that would/will be the springboard for her joining a party.
My druid Amara has a lore dense + complex backstory. Her trauma and mistakes are woven tapestries hanging on the walls of her mind . She grapples with echos of the past and past actions that make her /feel/ monstrous.
Ta'regi however... At the start of whatever campaign she gets to live in, she has already worked through the internal fallout of her choices. She has moved past the despair of thinking "I'm a monster", and firmly understands and embraced that she /is/ a monster. She has made peace that there truly is no path back, and the only direction is forward.
