To all my JP friends/famichiki peeps:

I need your help.

We're planning on going back to Japan in the middle of December. We'll be there for about 2 weeks. In that time I need to sort out the life I left 4 years ago in quite a hurry. I have no idea what condition any of my things are in, but there's a chance I'll have some books and odds and ends to give away if anyone is interested.
I'll be posting details when I get there and have a chance to look at stuff for myself.

I went out today to shoot mostly landscape and architecture, you know, low stress stuff to get the hang of this old camera. But then I befriended a crow and had an extended shoot with them. 🖤

It’s raining… I intend to go #cycling and I just replaced my tires based on a theory that the water adheres more to the slick ones and put on the knobby Contis so I won’t get so much water spray from the tires…😂

I would really like for the media to stop referring to the attempts to suppress and eradicate trans folk as "part of the culture war".
This isn't about beliefs or philosophies. It's about real people with real lives and yes, real identities being hunted, abused and even killed just for existing.
The second you give in and let them treat it like it's just a "cultural issue" and not an issue of ignoring facts and science and the real damage that's being done, you're making it easier for them.
