I’m considering integrating @telemetrydeck to get anonymized user events. It would greatly improve product planing, decision and development. Anyone strongly opposed to that? And why?

@IceCubesApp Hm… Anonymized sounds not bad, but nevertheless I don’t like to be tracked. Imo it should be possible to disable it and it should be opt-in.

In einer Welt, in der offene Protokolle das Ende der Gatekeeper eingelaeutet haben, gibt es keine Ausreden mehr wenn es darum geht sich gegen wirre Content-Policies der Plattformen zu positionieren. zieht bei die Reissleine!

Anstand ist nicht verhandelbar & genau deshalb verlasse ich die Plattform, die Nazi-Content monetarisiert.

Hey @IceCubesApp, any chance of LLM-powered filtering for in , i.e. smart feeds? I'd love to be able to set up a “no politics” feed, or "only politics”, "developer stuff" etc., without resorting to ever-growing keyword lists. Pretty please?

@czottmann @IceCubesApp How would this work technically? Pull the federated feed and parse all posts? Tbh, I think this would cause serious performance issues. And on top running a LLM… Bluesky does this with the algorithms which run on the server side. Imo this is a better solution.

How do I view posts with no boosts?

When I go to my profile or someone else's, there's buttons for Posts, Posts and replies and Media. There's also a count of Posts. Posts include boosts.

Just want to see the account's creations. Not interested in what they have boosted.

Have searched but have not found an answer.

@elduvelle @Iragersh In icecubes you can see posts and boosts on profile pages separately. In your own and everybody else. The new filters apply to the timeline.

Should the unread counter always count post above the current position? Even if you scroll all the way up and then down?

@IceCubesApp Tbh, for me this wouldn’t be very helpful. If I scroll up to the top, I have read all posts and the counter should be set to 0 like it works right now. If you change it, please make it configurable 😎.
