Wow, um. It's been a while, hasn't it, friends? I'm so sorry about that. I think I got burned out a bit by a few things related to life on the fediverse and being social in general.

But!

I am feeling so much better. Some great things have happened for me and I feel fully recharged! I'm going to try to ease back into being social again so I don't feel too overwhelmed.

It's good to take breaks, relax and recharge your batteries. Sometimes you don't know how drained you are. Sometimes you feel it intensely.

Suggestions: Do something unrelated to what you've been putting effort into. Sit and just "be". Watch nature. Crawl into your favorite comfy position and watch, listen, or experience your favorite media.

However you decide to take your break, don't forget to return! ;3

I just discovered these today after talking about dandelions with Wah. I searched for Dandelion Lion and these delighted me to no end. I love the sleeping one!

You know, I may not have many close friends I can borrow money from or crash on their couch if I need to, but I have lots of friends regardless. My friends come by here and there and don't stay for long, but their beauty and cuteness are a wonder to behold, and I feel happy and honored to be in their presence for the brief periods they drop by. They even show up on gross and rainy days.

They only come for the peanuts, but that exchange is fine by me. :3 ๐Ÿ’™
