    @protonmail I have a question… in the second image it shows the names for the emails (proton DHL, etc.)… are you able to change the view so that you can see the email addresses instead of the names? A lot of emails I receive come from scammers posing as legitimate companies so when it shows the name it’s sometimes hard to tell if it’s legit or not. That’s why I prefer seeing the email address instead of the name.

    @protonmail Thank you for getting back to me. Please consider this for a future enhancement… If there is any way to make a toggle switch so that people could choose either show names or show email addresses… it would be very much appreciated!! 🙏🏻

    @mmasnick @Gargron @Teri_Kanefield So I tried Threads today. One of the biggest things for me, that will make me stick with Mastodon, is the fact that it shows you posts from anyone… not just people you follow. I’m not a fan of that feature. I think if they do in fact federate, it will bring more users to Mastodon because over here we’ll be able to follow Thread-users but on our own terms. (ie: feed control and no ads)

    The Republican Fascist Party openly supports Nazis & millions of voters are like, hey! 👌 👍 ! Woot!

    This is so beyond alarming, so beyond disturbing, so beyond dangerous.

    Every so often it just hits me b/w the eyes how scary-bad it is. It’s, of course, why we got perm residency status in Canada, & no, I’m not “surprised” (How I hate that response). I saw this coming, sounded alarms all over Twitter & on air yrs ago.

    But JHC I still can’t bear that it’s happening here so fast/easily

    @GottaLaff I keep suggesting to my husband to move to Canada but we’ve never actually been there even for a vacation so he won’t even consider it. We need to go on vacation or something up there so he can see that it’s worth thinking about. Are there any places that you know of that would be a good place to visit?
