It's pouring down today. I hope the #slugs won't completely devour my #pumpkin plants. They're even eating my #onions and #garlics 😠 🤮 + the #ants are killing off my #cucumber plants. Sometimes #gardening can be frustrating. Heute regnet es Bindfäden. Hoffe, die #Nackschnecken werden nicht alle meine Kürbispflanzen auffressen. Sie haben sich schon über #Zwiebeln + #Knoblauch hergemacht. #Ameisen killen meine #Gurken. Manchmal ist #gärtnern furstrierend. #gardening

@JimmyB @gardening I've tried so many different things bt these little buggers aren't easily deterred. After a while they seem to be able to get around everything I do to prevent them from finishing off MY food.

@JimmyB @gardening those slugs could go anywhere, my garden/yard are so messy! 😂 During the first few years our neighbors offered to lend us their lawnmowers until they understood that we keep it "messy" on purpose. We haven't been able to inspire them to emulate us, though. They're too German 😜 😂

Crazy documentary. It looks like a dystopian SF movie. I have no idea why people still watch movies when reality is many times more than any movie. More scary, funny, complex, interesting, mindblowing.

China is perhaps how the future will look like for people on this planet. Total control.

@tio governments around the world are already, + have been, implementing surveillance measures similar to China's. Sometimes through the back door, other times more obvious - for those who see + listen. Orwell knew what he was writing about back then.

Some neighbor must've started putting out food for my . No idea who. They suddenly refuse ours. It's vexing cuz nt only do we throw tons of cat food away, we also spend a shitload on vet's bills for having them checked out. When will people finally STOP FEEDING other people's cats???!!! If you want one, go get your own! You aren't doing anyone a favor, just the opposite.

After about 6 weeks the finally feel at home in our home. They roam everywhere. Their fav place is currently our large barn. When they're back, they actually enjoy cuddling.

@palmoildetectives just the other week I tried to find organic cookies w/out palm oil. There was exactly ONE brand (Gepa)! They even put palm oil into peanut butter. Wtf for? Peanuts are already oily enough, + Whole Earth manages to make super smooth pb totally palm oil free. I really don't see the point. It's a huge challenge to find palm oil + sugar free products these days. I'm one of those who regularly reads the list of ingredients 😉

@yours_truly @palmoildetectives For cookie baking I was rather referring to the palm oil free cookies. As I said, I was able to find just one palm oil free brand. If you buy peanut Mus, it's palm oil free. If you want your standard (Im talking organic)`pb (it comes w/ + w/out added sugar), the vast vast majority is with palm oil. As for other cookie ingredients, there're palm oil free choices bt most products offered (choc spread in particular) come w/ palm oil. Sigh

When my in-laws complained about refugees yesterday I pointed out to them that the real hadn't even started yet + that they had no idea what we'd be in for in a few years time. My in-laws tick me off with their narrow-minded, asanine attitude that Germany belongs to Germans. They haven't realized that the world probably won't have any borders anymore cuz millions of people will be migrating to be able to survive. The world will be multi-million cultural.
