What are we doing here,

we bring up gas that reflects your radiating children back to the earth. But they are only meant for short visits. To bounce back into the nothingness of space.

But we keep them here.
And they heat us up.
Those in power do like it would take more time for your children to unfold their true powers.

But the effects are visible.
Floods, Fires, Droughts and imbalance.
The lifes of many are in danger.

Oh Sun, mighty in the sky,
I promise I will not shame you
for what you are not responsible for.
You were shining, are shining and will shine like you always did.
And for that I thank you.

People know you under many names. For some you are male or female. For other something in between, beyond or nothing.
But we all know: you bring life, joy and warmth.

Unto the land and the into the hearts.
I am sorry.
I am so sorry.

As long as you shine, there is hope. There is something giving us strenght.
And even if we have to hide away from the effects of our own demise, I will praise you evermore.

one thing I still have to learn in my practice is to be satisfied with how I end my cultus ritual.

Normaly, I give praises and words of thanks to the God first, then I give my offerings, then I ask for things if there is anything and then I close by thanking for their attention and protection.

It feels so weird afterwards to get "back to normal". To see the smoke of the resin and herbs still emerging from the coal...

Maybe it's just anxiety :D

What this whole Meta-attempting-to-federate thing has really illuminated for me is how at odds capitalism and democracy really are.

This really looks like the Instagram play, at least to me: connect with a competitor, synchronize the services, and then absorb them. With IG, they were able to do this because market forces favor whoever has the biggest bank account.

Will that happen with Fedi? Idk, maybe. Too soon to tell. It depends on how many decide to federate with them, although even one opens the door to more access than Meta was already getting just because both services are on the Internet. But that's the key difference-- the Fedi won't go over all at once, not as long as there are servers that don't federate with Meta. This is the advantage of decentralization.
