Why do entry-level jobs demand 3-5 years of experience?

Entry-level jobs should be all about learning and growing, not about having 5+ years of experience.

Employers should focus on hiring based on potential, not just experience.

Most jobs are basically saying, "Hey, you need experience to get experience."

How does that even make sense?

Instead, employers should focus on hiring people who have the right skills and attitude, even if they don't have a ton of experience.

Unpopular opinion: The 40-hour work week is broken.

Employees should be judged on their productivity and results, not on time spent in the office.

The 40-hour work creates a culture where employees are judged on the amount of time they spend at their desks, instead of the quality of work produced and their impact.

This leads to burnout and diminishing returns as workers put in long hours just for the sake of clocking more face time.

People don't quit jobs, they quit managers.

Having a great manager isn't a blessing; it's a crucial part of your career.

A manager who's a great mentor is a cheat code for success.

They break down complex tasks, share their own experiences, and answer your questions — no matter how silly they might seem.

Studies have shown that when your manager creates a positive vibe at work, it can make you feel less stressed.

You deserve a manager who believes in you.

It can make or break your career.

Making an extra $1,000 is a lot easier than cutting $500 from your budget.

Penny-pinching won't help as much as you think. Focus on the bigger financial wins.

Making an extra $1,000 is more valuable than saving an extra $500. It will get you a lot further, a lot faster.

Never underestimate the power of an extra $1,000.

If you’re married and make $123,250 from dividends, you’re taxed 0%.

That's NO tax on qualified dividends and long-term capital gains.

The couple with a paid-off home gets $120,000 tax-free on their $3,000,000 investment account with a 4% dividend.

Never let a job steal your life.

The company you work for is not your family, you don't owe a job anything beyond the work you're being paid for.

Prioritize your well-being over misplaced loyalty, and never feel guilty about leaving a job.

Companies aren't families, they're businesses. It's a business relationship and their goal is to make money.

If they can make more money by laying you off, they will.

If you have an opportunity to better yourself, never feel guilty about taking it.

The concept of "job security" is a myth.

You can lose any job tomorrow.

Upskill yourself, build an emergency fund, and grow multiple streams of passive income.

The only safety net you have is yourself.

$150,000 Student Loans,

$60,000 Car Loan,

$50,000 Wedding,

$85,000 Salary and $850,000+ in debt before 30.

Just because you can afford a $1,500/month car payment doesn’t mean you need to spend $1,500/month on a car.

Car A: $1,500/ month payment

Car B: $600/ month payment

Both cars drive you to work, and one car keeps you stuck working there.

Most people will trade their time for money, to pay for their needs and wants, their entire lives.

Wealth isn’t created by exchanging time for money — It’s created by putting your money to work for you.

The truth is, you get rich by investing.

When you start using money to make money instead of time to make money — becoming wealthy is only a matter of time.

The average person dies ~11 years after retirement.

But retirement doesn’t have to be an age, it can be a number in an investment account.

Every dollar you invest today buys time in the future that you won't have to work for someone else.

The goal is for passive income to replace active income, so that having a job becomes a choice, and not an obligation.

Retirement can come at any age.

Never be fooled by the illusion of wealth.

Many people who show off flashy cars and expensive homes are usually in debt.

Don’t go broke trying to look rich.
