"A federal judge has sided with two teachers who sued their school district over a policy preventing them from outing transgender and nonbinary students to their parents.

On Thursday, U.S. District Judge Roger Benitez, appointed by George W. Bush, granted a preliminary injunction halting the Escondido Union School District policy. The policy follows California state guidelines that say trans students’ identities should be kept private unless the student gives consent or when necessary to protect a student’s physical or mental well-being."

"California lawmakers have reached a deal that would set aside 15% of funds from a billion-dollar climate program to help companies build fueling stations for hydrogen cars and trucks."

California only has 12,000 hydrogen fueled cars. The climate program is funded by Infrastructure Act money intended to move us to a renewable fuel infrastructure.

Hydrogen fuel comes primarily from two sources: Natural gas and freshwater. The latter is cheaper to produce as it only requires electrolysis.
It could come from seawater but that's more expensive.

Either way, hydrogen is the smallest molecule and is notoriously difficult to store and transport without leaks. Once it leaks, it rises and escapes Earth's atmosphere. It's a one way trip for any leaked hydrogen. In a practical sense, this makes it a non-renewable fuel. If hydrogen as fuel becomes widespread, we'll be sending our drinkable water into space.

Daily Mail has long been strongly transphobic.

MSN aka Microsoft Start, aka Microsoft News on the other hand has only somewhat recently - the last year or so - begun strongly platforming really anti-trans media stories. It's disappointing to say the least.

I wish journalists would convey to their readers & listeners that under any other circumstances if a doctor suddenly rescinded the prescription for hormones someone has been taking for decades, it would be malpractice.

So many basic body functions are moderated by sex hormones, and many trans people no longer make their own, or their bodies didn't work right on the ones their bodies made. To suddenly withhold them causes physiological harm, full stop, as well as emotional harm.

Now they've begun denying non-trans-specific healthcare to transgender people, too.

The Catholic church owns or controls one in six hospital beds in the USA. In their buying spree, they openly focused on regional trauma centers and geographically isolated hospitals, specifically to control the healthcare that would be available.
