Wow, wow, wow what an amazing weekend. Two parties, a lunch and a beach walk surrounded by my nearest and dearest. My old school friends and I basically danced until the hotel threw us out! Waiting for people to send me their pics to share. Just the most wonderful time.
Now feeling a little tearful because it’s all over and I don’t know when I’m next going to see some of those lovely people. Also I have to make decision about whether I go back to work tomorrow or not and I’m feeling super anxious about that.
But, yeah, super time. My bestie, her partner and Tom put so much into making it memorable. Everyone loved the band and lots of people dressed up 🥰
In further experiments with vital wheat gluten, I made regular bread for the spouse yesterday. Added a cup gluten to 1kg wholemeal flour, 2 cups of rolled oats, and a cup of skim milk powder, and made it using yeast.
It made two of the most perfect loaves I’ve ever attempted. Gorgeous texture, flavour, and colour, and all the extra protein will be good for him too!
@Rasta@jeanettepizzurro Rasta, your Jasper and Teddy sound a lot like my Sunday and Doodle. They simply don't like each other. And if they get too close, there's going to be a squabble.

I was especially interested to hear that the sodium content of maple syrup is much lower than honey, as I am on a sodium-restricted diet. And I had no idea that it contained so much nutrition.
Good morning! I mostly slept well except a thought about something to do with work popped into my head in the middle of the night and kept me awake for a while. But I’m good. Excitement for the day is taking a load of stuff to the recycling centre in the wind and rain. Just about to go into a session to plan my work for the week, choosing which of the big tasks for the next six months I make a start on 🤔 How are you this Monday?

How am I this Monday you ask? I'm getting better, following a two week bout of respiratory infection. I had my Covid, RSV and flu jabs, and wear my mask😷, so I thought I'd stay healthy. But the common cold got me. 🤧
