Reading was my greatest comfort as a child, and one of the only areas of my life my mother didn't try to control. To know even that small escape is denied today's kids makes my heart hurt :(

So while we were away we booked our Caribbean trip for next year, four nights on Barbados and 7 on Saint Vincent. For St V we’ve gone for a secluded suite with a terrace, it’s much more than we would normally spend, but we will be celebrating 20 years as a couple, so we thought we would treat ourselves. 20 years is a long time!
