I was feeling on the spot as a customer service rep asked me to spell my name after getting it wrong a few times, and I started coming up with the weirdest words. It started fine:

M as in Mary.

I as in ... ... ice?

G as in generous.
N as in Neanderthal.
O as in orangutang (since I was looking at that word earlier).

I wonder how often something like that happens. Maybe I've been playing too many word games.

@grammargirl Happened to me recently. I was spelling something using the NATO alphabet and when I got to the letter R, I completely blanked out and blurted out R as in Rainbow. I could swear I heard a giggle on the other end of the line.

I've been enjoying a Boggle-like game called Squardle. It gets harder as the week goes on. Today was a hard day, but I got them all. My only complaint is that I spend way too much time on it.

I was all set to go on a bike ride for the first time in probably 4 years. Beautiful day. Tons of finding equipment, inflating tires, etc.

And the I took a bad fall in my driveway on the way out. In the mother f'ing g-- da** driveway!

So now instead of being on a lovely ride, I'm sitting here with ice on my hip, knee, and wrist (typing one handed).

The only good thing is that my helmet stayed on securely. I've always wondered if it would.
