He’s here! The prototype, anyway. He’s big, squishy, and friend-shaped. We’ll try to make him as affordable as possible. You’ll have to wait a couple more months to get one, but we might open pre-orders relatively soon.
"It is Ian’s regular smoothie. Some raspberries, a fistful of spinach, Icelandic yogurt (Finnish, if they are out of Icelandic), spirulina, wheatgrass, acerola cherry powder, Chlorella, kelp, açai extract, cocoa nibs, zinc, beetroot essence, chia seeds, mango zest, and ginger. It is his own invention, and he calls it Keep it Simple."
I have fermented carrot sticks but .. meh. But now I'm thinking I might try fermenting a liter of jalapeños sliced into chunks, with some garlic cloves and a few dates (to help nourish the microbes). Shorter carrot sticks might be a good addition as well.
I'll certainly report on it if I do it, and I think I will. Thanks for the idea.
Trump went off the teleprompter in an eruption of particularly demented fear and loathing. And he did it at the major "conservative" -- that is, right-wing extremist -- conference that welcomed Nazis and featured a social-media nutcase who said his ilk would finish the job they were doing on Jan. 6.
You would not know about all of this if your source of political news is the Washington Post, or the New York Times.
@EllieKears. 20K is way too much barley for me, even if it's purple. I am thinking, though, that I will buy the 10kg bag, and some of that will be used as gifts to local family members. The rest I'll use over a couple of years.
