I come from a family where farting is a contact sport. (Mom hates that I publicly admit this) I have a cousin who calls/texts when he has a really good fart & there's nobody around to share it with.

Yes, our family reunions are entertaining...and pungent...

Well it's Monday.

We woke up to our dog pooping in our bathroom. The old man couldn't hold it and we missed the ques because of reasons.

So after we cleaned that mess up the rest of the day began.

Tripped over the cat on my way to the bathroom. Tripped over the cat on my way to the kitchen. Tripped over the cat on my way back to my room, managed to not spill my iced coffee. Waiting for food delivery & hoping I don't trip over the damned cat again!

On the agenda for ?

A trip to the bank. Go to the pharmacy to get Mom's Rx. Go to the Verizon store to get Mom a new phone. Possibly a trip to the optometrist to see about getting me new glasses.

All of these hinge on Mom getting her ass up & moving. I've been ready to go for 2 hours.

Woke up, went to use the toilet, and as I'm sitting there my cat appears and stares at me.

I get dressed as my cat watches.

I start to leave the bedroom and my cat is at the top of the stairs waiting for me to go down.

I go down and my cat walks ahead of me to get to the patio door. I open the door and my cat steps out.

I feed the dog, and then sit in my chair and pull my laptop up.

My cat jumps on the arm of the chair and starts purring waiting for me to brush it.

I woke up to the melodic sounds of Boo Kitteh singing the song of his people. "The sun is up & I have no shrimp treats, woe is me!"

After consoling the little beast, I drank the last of my cold brew. Put a new pitcher in to steep & then ordered brunch (& more iced coffee) from Panera.

Now contemplating where to put the grocery delivery that's due to arrive soon.

No, I haven't been gone for more than 6 hours since I came home from the hospital 3 weeks ago. (To be fair, I was gone for a month, unexpectedly) He's just a moody brat! (I love him anyway)

Anyone here who moved from Sertraline to other antidepressants? How was your experience?
I've been on that for a few months now, my mood improved and my anxiety is less powerful but I can still barely function normally or focus and my OCD and depression symptoms are partly back. Constant brain fog etc.

FWIW, my doctor added Buspar/Buspirone to go with the Sertraline and it seems to be helping. I found it interesting that the hospital staff took me off nearly all of my regular meds for the month I was in after my accident, but they left the mental health meds alone.

Girlfriend snored like a chainsaw all night. Then I lost an hour sleep thanks to Daylight fucking Savings. But my dog wouldn't let me sleep in because damnit the sun is up so where is his food?
