So, I need advice on and medical advice generally. Trying to get a DX when all your tests come back inconclusive is frustrating. Bout to drop $1400 on a file review. Maybe. When the last labs come back with nothing.

@scottsantens I have my concerns, but it seems from a pure efficiency / overheacld perspective, this is superior to the maze of paperwork we currently require for basic living support. It also reincentivizes people who would work, but for the loss of their benefits.

@dolanor there are multiple parts, mostly a hobby between our other responsibilities. Generally, we both feel like Wizards has been slack at lore, maps, and got lazy generally. Yay Hasbro I guess.

Generally speaking, we're working on the headcanon version of Faerun we've experienced. It kind of started when reviewing Wizard's Forgotten Realms Style Sheet, which pretty much dropped every bit of grit and turned D&D into a video game.

Been playing through Honor Mode on . We are doing well (we take the time to plan every battle that can be planned) but we cannot account for game bugs.

Tonight, we almost TPKed because either reintroduced or didn't fix a bug that fails to move a character when a moving platform moves. Of the four of us, two ended up falling through, one got stuck in the ground, and one made it safely.

I cannot even begin to imagine how frustrating it would be to end up failing because of a game bug.

@mezz This is a first for me; I'm not a fan of games being difficult just to be difficult. If we make a dumb call and lose, that's 100% okay. But yeah, losing because of a months old bug would be a bit infuriating.

I do like the "decisions matter" aspect though. Really have to consider whether we want to kick certain fights. And being a hero is much harder (though we still do it.)

@selzero Immigration should be easy; enforce wage laws and open the borders so people can work.

Welfare systems is more complicated. System is designed poorly, needs a major overhaul. Goal should be to lift people up so they can escape poverty cycles, not to trap them in.

@selzero Whether work is a job or producing for one's own benefit, there are essentials that must be done for survival. Having said that, UBI if well done would likely be a net gain economically; might even save money. I'm not against it.

Corps are essentially ignoring the law because they now write the laws. Reining them in would be a win.
