I sincerely hope Threads follows through with their plan to federate. It will give other Fediverse users a controlled pipeline to the zeitgeist.

By judiciously following Threaders here weโ€™ll be able to have safe access to the people, news, and brands we could never convince to use Mastodon without having to submerse ourselves into the massive, undifferentiated flood of info over there.

This is a good thing, yes?

@leo I like this take on it. The way things are set up they can't get data from other servers that isn't public anyway. We'll see how this pans out, but I like this approach.

Knowing the story of "The Flashpoint Paradox" from the comics I was glad to see some story beats kept in there. The movie was better than I was expecting it to be.

    @vwbusguy Yikes. I'm glad that it's lasted you so long. I'm rocking my Aeropress and Hario V60 as my daily drivers. I've got a burr grinder I bought at a store's going out of business sale. It's served me well the past few years.

    I bought a carafe for my V60 today...I'm done buying brewing gear now....
