Feeling this week mentally. Very scattered. It doesn't help that I have two phone appointments later, so my brain wants to chew on those until they happen instead of getting work done.

Work will be short today because of that. It's likely an article and checking on social queues for clients.

Family time will be . We are enjoying the new cohost so far. This season looks warm and cozy.

    Not a bad haul overall. While it might seem like there are a lot of in this thread, $12.63 netted me:

    Dead Island: Riptide Definitive Edition, Pang Adventures, Through the Woods, Reventure, Smart Factory Tycoon, Toy Tinker Simulator, Lost Words: Beyond the Page, Conglomerate 451, Sniper: Ghost Warrior Trilogy, Teslagrad Remastered, The Dungeon Beneath, and Toybox Turbos.

    I think I’ll get at least $0.90 of entertainment out of each of these.

    Back is still tender , but walking is doable at least. Riding the ibuprofen and a pain rub that I make using CBD, Oil of Oregano, Mint, and Coconut Oil while alternating between ice packs and a hot water bottle. It’s improving bit by bit.

    Theme park might be out of the question tomorrow, but at least I should be good to sit in the lawn for The Offspring and Sum 41. It was very much up in the air yesterday with how I felt.

    Y'all... just got back from the home inspection. Apart from a sore back from lifting the basement door funny, there was no bad news .

    But I was prepared for bad news. I've spent a week telling myself, "Don't get your hopes up yet." I wasn't prepared for no bad news. Now I don't know what to do.

    We'll get the official report in 24 hours or so. There's a significant change I'll be a homeowner by mid-October.

    So now I'm just sitting here staring into space going "Well damn... now what?"

    Hey Mastodon. It's been a few. Life got a little nuts there, and I had to pick a ball to drop.

    But in the meantime, I put in my first offer ever on a house. Hoping to hear if it's accepted today. If so, that's an undeniable change to our lives forever. No pressure 🤠

    It's not just the house. The community change is big too. The town has a thriving arts center, an active and growing library, and businesses that are involved with each other. Not to mention walkability. I want all of that.
