New level of SNCF Connect genius

It lets me book a TER train in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté in April with a reduction when my reduction card expires in March (I have a new card too, but that's not in my profile) 🤪

And it will not let me book a TER in Grand Est in April with a reduction although my Grand Est card IS valid then 🤬

"I'm leaving the #train at the next stop. Please check if you have your wallet. If not the person with the reflective yellow jacket and the little clown bike in the first carriage is holding it for you."

Context: I found a wallet and tried to hand it to the conductor. He instead told me to hang on to it as it's likely to be from someone still on the train, and as he's leaving I'm holding on to it for now. He also said how much he likes Bromptons..

Question for #train people: I want to travel from Kolding (DK) to Amersfoort (NL) on monday 18 march. Route planners have me stop in Pinneberg and take the S-bahn to Hamburg-Harburg.

Normally it's just arriving from DK in Hamburg-Hbf and leaving there by ICE. Is this not possible anymore?

edit: I really like Hamburg-Hbf. Easy to navigate and I can buy some really nice sausage.. Taking an extra train (S-train) feels like a downgrade.

Rendering shown edits out the overhead wires that are present outside the Kulturhistorisches Museum in Görlitz (see pics) - presence of wires eliminates the need for a hydrogen tram

Oh and the piece conveniently ignores the gauge issue in Görlitz as well 🤦‍♂️

Life with a non-standard name can be challenging at times.

My name is Pepijn. It's 10:36 in the morning. These are four emails I received since 8:00.

I don't really care but can see how this might upset some 😐 Am a bit disappointed the classic Pippin misspelling wasn't one of them though.

For 21 years I've ran an informative #website on #overfishing.

As an "independent source" it was used by politicians, students, and many everyday people alike.

It was used for #publications & #documentaries, and triggered some inquires where I assisted in shaping national & international political statements. It's been fun & fulfilling 🙂

In today's siloed internet its usefulness is gone. No more days with 5.000 unique visitors & multiple email inquires.

Today is its last day online. 1/2

We're looking to add a two-wheeled #cargobike to the family and there is soooo much choice*.

Somehow I keep coming back to this excellent machine though. It can fit an entire kindergarten but also works well to get rid of diapers or do forestry stuff!

(we'll probably end up with something else)

*well, I guess #Babboe is out ;-)
