I'm prepared to announce and pursue at this neurodivergent conference call idea alone for a long time before it catches on. It's hard to make things catch on, especially with a crowd that isn't particularly sociable and good at showing up for appointments.

Lemme get this straight, helped themselves to $80 out of my account every month for several months while I dealt with undiagnosed with no help from them (kinda hard to get treatment when you have to initiate all of the communication and you have raging ADHD). The US FTC sued them and all I get back is $9.70?

Good grief.

OH SNAP, they got sued for selling customer's data TO FACEBOOK. WOW! WHAT A PARAGON OF VIRTUE.

I think the difference is that if I forget to go to a therapist's appointment, I'd be on the hook for 2x a single appointment, and then that would be it until I called back and said, "sorry I forgot," or whatever, and set up more appointments.

With BH, it was way more open-ended, and if you're not initiating the conversation (because the therapist is just a chat line, and you don't have appointments unless you request one), you were literally paying for nothing. They never stop billing

Then I take a step back and realize, pretty much everything is inside
walled gardens: Apple, Meta, Google, Microsoft.

Any of these companies can simply "erase" us.

ADHD meds end of week 2 note.

My whole sense of time is different.

I don't come home from work, do a few amusing things then oh shit it's midnight, time to sleep. It's fit in a whole evening of visiting family, bun time, reading, catching up with folk online, and it's only 10:20pm and it feels like a normal whole weekend's already fit in. Free time used to fly by, now it's savoured fully.

Also medicaiton still way variable and peaky, but may change Monday.

I seriously need to try what you're taking. My Strattera has totally flatlined. I literally just hopped in my car last night and DROVE DUE NORTH with Kylie Minogue blasting in my stereo. (Not my usual music selection, lol)

I truly was emotionally compromised this week after hearing that my workmate of about 25 years, Debbie Amburgey, had passed away. That hit me hard. Still does.

Hey awesome and helpful friends,

Continuing my alternate history exploration, I've settled on the hardware I would've gotten for Christmas 1989 (A500, basic monitor, some kind of HDD, Workbench 1.3), but now I'm trying to find fairly equivalent software to what I used on the classic mac to round out the experience.

Any recommendations for Amiga equivalents truly appreciated:
