because debian unstable can't cross-build arm64 on x86/amd64 at the moment, CI is building reform-debian-packages natively on the RK3588 MNT Reform that i'm also using to watch voyager at the same time, because it is feierabend
@mntmn@csprng I really like the idea of UPS like function. Instead using cheap component with lower price, I would rather see this be build with quality components even though the price would be higher. Most people who like the concept of MNT product is its repair ability and longevity and quality components would really boost the longevity of a product.
Rockchip RK3588 for MNT Reform: so close, but yet so far... OK, some of the footprints are not correct yet. i can surely shrink those FETs and level shifter ICs. also could maybe cut the DSI connector in half and make a flex adapter.
who here is actively looking forward to MNT Rack Reform? (short 1U case with Reform hardware, power supply and PCIe slot). trying to get a feeling of how we should prioritize it.
@mntmn I’m looking for it. I’m trying to replace some hardware that doesn’t need a lots of cpu power from amd64 to arm64. This should save me some electricity bill.
