@seachanger I need to regain momentum on all of these, but sometimes I enjoy a decent streak of merciless unsubscribing. I just have to work up the energy to not overthink each one.
Big day. The pharmacy now has the remaining vials of insulin for my refill back at the start of April. Just in time for me to request another refill for May.
@onelson A fair point. Of the new trilogy I found this first one the strongest and best executed, but then all the cool stuff I thought they were setting up kinda got squandered in the second two and replaced with, uh, less cool stuff.
So I guess where I land is "the fan service in The Force Awakens is pretty enjoyable but then they let the Worst Fans dictate the second two, and my disappointment is immeasurable"
Whenever I pass by a Chik fil a in a progressive city with a gigantic line I think it’s kind of amazing a chicken sandwich can taste good enough that everyone’s cool with the homophobia they’re helping fund
No ethical consumption under capitalism, can’t recycle our way out of the climate crisis, of course of course. Both true. But “not spending money on an extremely, explicitly evil company actively funding activities that harm our LGBTQ siblings” seems like a pretty low bar to clear, basic human decency-wise.
