I believe in a right to a good education. From that perspective, public education should be funded to the highest standard throughout the system. Otherwise, you are denying children a basic right.
Kids need a good education to be healthy and successful in life. It’s pretty pro-life, really.

Girls have a right to be comfortable all day and in all kinds of weather and join in the activities of their peers without fear or discomfort and to wear a skirt or not as they choose. Charter schools that receive public funds must follow public rules. The Supreme Court isn't exactly doing doing everything or much I want but these two things matter.
The Republicans have been using appointed panels and eroding ballot initiatives for a couple of decades now. It's just another way to circumvent democracy.
The Ohio GOP has gerrymandered themselves into a supermajority – and that supermajority is very unhappy that a petition from Ohio citizens allowing a vote protecting reproductive choice will be on the ballot in November. So they rushed through a constitutional amendment to try and raise the threshold for passage from a simple majority to 60%.
Yeah, Ohio Democrats are mobilized and fighting hard on this one – and need your help and support to get the word out to every voter in #Ohio.

A Grand Jury for crimes committed in Washington and a separate Grand Jury for crimes committed in Florida- good. To be fair I should say "alleged" crimes, but Trump has publically admitted his guilt, over and over again, on recorded telephone calls, all kinds of videos, social media posts, and almost every time he opens his mouth.
Somehow I doubt Ron DeSantis plans to issue pardons to people I would say fall into the category of "where government's been weaponized against disfavored groups." (Hint: White guys with guns are not disfavored.) It doesn't really go with being governor of the state where the civil rights groups have just warned people not to travel to because of new, hostile laws DeSantis has encouraged and signed.
No one give DeSantis any more power than he already has.
I’d take it as a compliment to be on Putin’s sanctions list but he sure loves trying to get the love of Trump supporters. It’s not a surprise nor an accident.

Ohio voters: Republicans in your state are trying to sneak a ballot measure by you during a special election coming up on August 8th. Special elections typically don’t see much turnout as it is and certainly Ohio Republicans are hoping voters don’t even show up at all. 1/2
This article notes that Joe Manchin's income is largely from his family company, which sells waste coal to power plants. Note also that Manchin gets more campaign funding from the oil and methane industry than any other member of Congress. Any.

May Tarrio and his counterparts have a long stay in prison. Imagine losing your freedom for Donald Trump, a guy who wouldn’t stop his limo to help you if you were on fire, much less give a single penny in your legal defense.
Great. Keep them home while the rest of the kids go. It’s the same problem over and over- people who don’t know what they’re talking about insisting their thoughts are more important than others’ rights and making sure no one can do the thing they object to.
@TonyStark If you don’t want an abortion, don’t get one from. If you want to go to church then do so, but don’t force religion on everyone else, if you don’t want to dispense certain pharma drugs, then don’t work in a pharmacy, if you don’t like drag, then avoid drag shows etc. It’s a long list.
