Ok it goes like this. Its already gone like this in florida. Donnie says he's going to make 2 official legally recognized genders. If the gender you present as or thats on your ID does not match your birth certificate you go to jail.

He also promises that no state or federal funds can be used for gender affirming care, so once you're in jail and all your medical care comes from state funds, you are forcibly detransitioned by being denied hormones and you're put in holding cells with people who match your agab. Even if you're post-op, even if you're completely stealth and/or passing.

This is what the plan is. This is what they said their plan was in leaked emails in 2023, and its the plan that's already underway in a decent chunk of the country.

Im so fucking tired of being #chronicallyill.

Im so tired of having to walk this fucking knife edge with what i eat and what i do and how i sleep and what i drink and how i exercise and just on and on and on and on.

My partner just kissed me and smelled faintly of peanut butter and i had to go scrub my fucking mouth out just in case they got some in my mouth and I have a reaction.

Now I get to sit here and wonder if im going to vomit for the next 5 hours, blowing my voice out and emptying my GI of any acid or bile and then probs some blood just for funsies and then id be stuck in bed for the next 3 days.

Or will my godsdamn throat close up this time? Hopefully it would be in my sleep and Id be done worrying at least.

The only reasonably safe thing i can do is not kiss them for at least 8 hours and hope theres nothing left in their mouth tmrw. Hell, i wont be able to sit next to them cuz the smell gives me so much anxiety i wont be able to think about anything else.

Im sure its a total coincidence that Cigna - the insurance company whose paperwork changed this year to not cover injury due to war, declared or undeclared, or violent political insurrections, and whose CEO makes more than any* other health insurance CEO suddenly all but stopped paying for my hrt. Now charging me $115 per ~month for estradiol valerate (which sucks as a medication.)

But if I - HYPOTHETICALLY - got a grey market vial of estradiol enanthate it would be $400 for more than a year of injections without insurance at all. even at monotherapy levels.

Apparently Neil Degrass Tyson got into an argument with ben shapiro about #trans ppl exisiting.

lil sheppy kept saying 'theyre not biological women' and Tyson kept coming back with 'ok, and where are u going with this?'

Cuz he has nowhere to go with it. Just shouting about how we cant have kids (false, u just need to keep trying to impregnate ur trans gf) actually has no point other than to try and shame and discriminate against us.

So the final season of #StarTrekDiscovery just premiered.

The entire series is a mirror of its self with the pivot being the 3rd season when they fix The Burn and bring the scattered federation back together.

So just as season 2 ended with Burnham going forward in time 1,000 years, this season will end with the bad guys winning and using the macguffin to do The Bad Thing thus requiring Book and Burnham to go back in time ~1,000 years so the ship can wait around to grab the tech before the bad guys do.

The spore drive can move in time, Season 1 had the ship coming back from the mirror universe months after they left.

Book and Burnham then take one of the disco's 2 shuttles and fly off to live out their days in obscurity on Kwejian.

This sets up the events of the short trek Calypso where the disco has been stripped of all its future tech and is waiting in a nebula for 1,000 years.

I dont play video games.

I hyperfixate on a game until the audhd goblin in charge of my brain says I should stop and i lose all interest in it for 6 months.

But that liminal transition period is such an uneasy time while my mind flails around at all of reality, past hyperfixations, games, or new novel things until one of them catches on.

When something does catch its like a sudden gasping breath of air after being underwater for too long.

Ok maybe not that dramatic but still.

Ive beein thinking for a while about how in Morgoth's Ring its explained that while Sauron concentrated his (lesser) power in the One Ring, Morgoth diffused his power into the very favric of Arda such that the only way to remove this malignant corruption will require the undoing of the world - probs right before the 4th theme. His ring was in fact Arda its self.

The biggest thing bothering Morgoth was he couldnt create light. So just as gold is a little extra evil, I think the purely artificial light of our phones shining depression and conflict into our hearts should be called Morgoth's Light.

We got caught up on Doctor Who last night. The new doctor is sooooo godsdamn queer, i love it.

I mean just look at these promo shots.

Homesoil is wearing tight muscle shirts zipped down to show a couple necklaces and a bit of chest hair, multiple rings and a thin mustache.

We also got an extended shot of him dancing in a club wearing a tight tank top and a kilt and I don't think Ive ever watched a scene so intently in my life.

I made some peppermint bark for thanksgiving dinner tonight ^.^

Its a trend that my wife loves and hates - that I will learn how to make a favorite food of theirs and then end up making it better than the store/restaurant versions they used to like.

Mostly I think its down to me using quality ingredients and going for tasty instead of shelf-stable or 'easily replicated in a commercial kitchen 200 times a night.'

My gf has now said my peppermint bark is better than all but the fanciest store-bought kind and my gay little heart swells with culinary pride.
