I organize books for fun at the public library. Knit, crochet, cook, read a lot, walk a lot , look at things. Small menagerie of birds and squirrels. Petsitter.

Lived in Venice Beach in the 60's, Utah in the 70's, and Oregon ever since. Big fan of Alaska, Seattle, San Francisco, New York, and Hawaiian Beaches.

I have some superfine yarn and after weeks of crocheting with thicker yarn it was an adjustment back to knitting, it took me countless times getting through the second row (of 4 stitches) before I got my microscopic focus back and relearned how to keep it from flying off the needle 😆 knock on wood

It is so fascinating to me, that of all the things that have changed in the world, the 60 min/sec has remained basically the same throughout recorded history. I'm talking Ancient Sumeria, so let's be real, probably before that too. Other than some real fun guys during the French Revolution, we really stuck with this.

Starting a slow simmer, leftover rotisserie chicken and tomato sauce, red onion, poblano, garlic. There's oregano on the porch, but that's later. I'll have it over rice, eventually 😋

I remember watching random TV in bc after living in us, and thinking, wait, the rest of the world exists? This was late 80's. I watched Winnie the Pooh in French with my coffee the next morning.
