Lived in Venice Beach in the 60's, Utah in the 70's, and Oregon ever since. Big fan of Alaska, Seattle, San Francisco, New York, and Hawaiian Beaches.

Tell me a silly/funny childhood story!

I'll start:

One time in Sunday School, the teacher was talking about the difference between humans and animals, and mentioned that Animals had Tails and humans didn't. I let her know this was not true, because my Dad had a tail, just in the front, instead of the back. The teacher was silent for several seconds, and tried to correct me in a church appropriate way, but I doubled down, and insisted that my little brothers also had front tails too. This got so heated that the teacher had to go get my parents to take me out of Sunday School.

@RickiTarr I lasted exactly one day in Sunday school, I can't remember what question I asked, something about the Ark animals maybe, so I went back with the adults where I could at least be bored in peace

@RickiTarr I've only got this one photo of me in my favorite This Mortal Coil tee, but the bright sunlight probably cancels out any emo. I still love the shirt, I may need to hold it together with safety pins soon.

My adorable little friend needed babysitting again today. I placed a log in a strategic place as a makeshift baby gate to encourage staying in the ground squirrel corner. In the last picture you can see the injured mom doing her best to keep an eye out 🥺

Now baby is standing in front of a mini pumpkin, resting on its oversized back feet holding its cheerio up with front paws
Now the baby holds up a small piece of cabbage, happily giving it a try
The baby sits on a concrete slab facing away from the camera, enjoying the sunshine. It’s mothers head is visible popping up from behind the edge of the slab. She’s dozing trying to recover from an injury.
