Forgot to mention that I was able to ride my bike (Lovelace/Lovey) for the first time in over a month today after the chiro. It was a short ride and I kept the assist really high, plus stopped sensibly before the giant hill to sit on a bench and regroup. Did my back hurt after? Yes. Was I happy to be able to do it? also yes!!

    @penfount There was a man in a suit in an elevator at a fancy hotel who had a pen case full of fountain pens! I didn’t ask him about them though because my five year old had already asked him “Hi! Where are you going?” and their conversation lasted the whole elevator ride 🤦🏻‍♀️

    Entering my “no fucks forties” by blocking with great prejudice. Yesterday some dude here asked me “Why do you have she/her in your bio?” and I thought, maybe he genuinely doesn’t know? but then weighed it against the likelihood that he knew damned well and was trying to cause trouble. So I just blocked his ass. No stranger deserves a second of my time/attention when they’re probably asking in bad faith anyway.

    That feeling when your runs out of ink and you’ve got to go look up your own Reddit post from December to figure out what ink is in it. 😅 It’s either Yukiakari or Ama-Iro. p.s. when Platinum says their cap will keep your ink from drying up, they mean it! I’ve tested it. 😂

    @vga256 So I have tried different programs over the years but I always come back to just using Photoshop because I already know how to use it. I got a sale on some Udemy courses a few months back to learn more painting (in PS) and they're pretty comprehensive. the main thing for me is well, I'm paying for it anyway?

    @vga256 https://www.udemy.com/course/the-ultimate-digital-painting-course-beginner-to-advanced/ is one of the ones I got. They're pretty comprehensive. In PS I find the main thing is brushes. Lots of custom brushes make things so much easier, and this course recommends where to find some to download. (disclaimer: I still couldn't paint what you linked in PS, though, lol)
