In Hollywood, the first weekend of May is traditionally seen as the official kick-off of the summer movie season: an auspicious blockbuster date that has, of late, become rather a boring one....
"Putin continues to believe that Russia is under threat and almost certainly assumes that a larger, better-equipped military will convey that opinion to Western and domestic audiences," Director of U.S. National Intelligence Avril Haines said.
Your favorite of all of them? Really? I’m honestly curious because I found it pretty terrible, in the vein of crystal skull more than the OGs. In my view it was all over the place, didn’t tell a cohesive story, and dragged on for at least 45 minutes longer than it should’ve. I’m having trouble even recalling what the movie was even about and it’s only been a couple months.
Watched the trailer and got pretty excited for the game until I saw Ubisoft at the end. Guess I’ll wait for the next SW game. Eclipse? Whatever happened with that one.
Ok, this actually makes sense now. Florida otherwise felt like a pretty rough target, but this could actually swing it and they need to campaign like hell on it.
I’ll keep an eye on this. I use discord exclusively for gaming purposes, and voice chat is pretty important for that bc I’m still on console mostly for the next year or so (building a pc finally, thanks to a new job). So if they can get that going, I could convince several people to switch once I’m also on PC. Till then discord for my PS5 is about the best I can hope for.
This is plausible. That or it’s just a really cheap policy - no windstorm/hail damage is very much NOT normal for homeowners though, even so.
The rest of this is pretty standard stuff and the fact that people seem angry/surprised by it speaks volumes to how little attention they’ve paid to their own policies. Read your paperwork y’all. It’s tedious, but you are also party to the insurance contract that you’re paying for. It can also help you find grey areas of coverage, and a grey area (ambiguous language) tends to work out well for the insured party (you, if you have insurance).
This is gonna sound like a #humblebrag but same. I’ve had drunken gay dudes thank me for existing because they found me that attractive. I know a decent amount of women find me attractive but it’s nowhere near the same degree.
My wife is highly amused by it, but it’s like damn, I’d be absolutely killing it if I was at all into dudes.
Image transcription is not great for any blind folk. The whole joke is the hoop, not the Gatorade. There’s a hoop and a tempting stack of melons (giggity), stacked like it’s maybe ready for a really messy 3 point shot competition, if anyone blind sees this.
This is a super weird hill to die on imo. Obviously, Heavenly is at fault here, but choosing to rely solely on others by not bringing your cell is also a decision that she made that worked out poorly.
Sure, you can break your phone falling, but I’d much rather risk a broken phone than being stuck somewhere without it, or getting lost off piste or something and only having my voice to call for help.
You claim “LOTS” of people don’t bring theirs, but I’d guess that’s still a tiny minority of people on the mountain overall. I tend to get over 20 days a year and go with a pretty sizeable crew, literally no one leaves their phone in the car because then you can’t find anyone if you get separated, you can’t listen to music, you can’t take sweet pics/vids, you can’t call ski patrol if you or someone with you gets hurt (obviously you can still go find them but calling is faster if you have service).

Thanks for asking, OP. I’m in a similar boat, except I don’t even have a computer to get started with yet, only an old phone if I wanted to use that (not trying to do things on my daily). Thinking of buying a raspberry pi and diving in but dunno where to start.
Have plex and someone kind enough to share their library with me, but it doesn’t have everything I want. Could be worse tho, I suppose.
