We drove past some kind of accident yesterday afternoon, near Mooney's Bay, I think. I didn't look as I was driving, but my wife said they were treating a teenage girl on the floor. There's nothing in the news but I have my fingers crossed she's ok. We were afraid she'd been hit by a car, but we couldn't tell. #ottawa
#YouTube is doing weird things by showing the wrong channel names for videos in the sidebar and below the one I'm watching. It's very strange - what kind of trickery is this?
@YurkshireLad I really haven't appreciated the arrival of drive thru culture here. It wasn't long ago that it was rare.
Servers will abandon you at the counter in the middle of an order if someone needs drive thru service. I was standing there with a coffee just out of reach behind the counter and the server wouldn't give it to me until she finished with the drive thru customer who arrived suddenly while she was serving me. So frustrating. And on my one TH visit in perhaps a decade. lol
One person driving 40 in an 80 zone is probably more dangerous than multiple people driving 90 in an 80 zone. At least based on what I saw today. #ottawa#roads
@YurkshireLad 1 backhoe crossing the Greenbelt during rush hour on a two lane road Greenbank/Merivale/Prince of Wales...everyone and their employer loses thousands of hours of paid time so 1 guy can save a few bucks on a float.
