@aram I don't think it does. It's coming from mastodon.world, which is one of the 2 servers run by Mastodon gGmBH. They do have moderators, but they are also very big and open registration, leading to them being ripe targets for spammers.

I've limited that server (probably will keep the limit there for a while).

Seeing a lot of discussion about preemptively blocking 's fediverse project.

The moderators of aoir.social have consulted and we have decided we will preemptively block Meta if and when they join the fediverse. This is because of the surveillance aspects. (I am also personally concerned that it will not be well-moderated).

AoIR.social members: please do weigh in on this or let me know if you have questions.
