@mekkaokereke @Uair @philip_cardella not a surprise or incompatible with above the above facts, but technique is incredibly important for getting above a certain amount of weight that's body weight dependent. Women being lighter tend to focus on technique more deeply in a lot of sports. Rock climbing being one where it's really obvious because men over rely on their arms and have to learn later to use their legs, while women predominantly use their legs from the start!

With every flight on Delta where I forget to manually pick my seats (e.g. to sit next to female friends), I'm more and more convinced their assignment system uses gender as part of it's process. And I'm pretty sure it's discriminating.

Because, out of a dozen+ flights like this I've been sat next to women twice. This defies my expectations around random chance because surveys of the flights shows about an equal distribution of men and women.

I believe this is happening because my passport originally said male on account of mistakes made on my birth certificate 🤷‍♀️

Meanwhile my female friends, who didn't have birth certificate errors, are reliably sat next to women almost every time.

Bizarre story time: I once had someone claiming to be from a Russian bank wanting to buy my Facebook username because it has the same initials as the bank 🤣🤣🤣

I said "make me an offer" and they asked what I wanted and then ghosted when I asked for $1M. Boys, you're a bank, supposedly, that's fucking nothing.
