i am using obsidian for years.
it's basically a closed source mark down editor. Which is fine enough, since when they go haywire, i still have MD files and can use any program or write my own.
In a thread https://logseq.com/ came up. A fancy MD editor open source? lets try.

Opening my obsidian folder (which mostly only contain MD files and a .obsidian folder with settings):
app crash. not a good start

tried it again and it worked now.
Opened the "obsidian vault folder" directly. seems like they can co-exist in the same filder.
getting a few "empty" (they are not empty, but no MD files or images in it, so obsidian sees them as empty) additional logseq folders in obsidian, which is fine.
changed the default date format and this is my start screen now.
to the left the files are indexed/named weird, not (only) by their actual file names, rather... i dont know. 35 and PEBI are the same file
