@neilhimself I realized recently that the songs I write that make people cry are mostly about imaginary situations. I even put that in a song. Then I made someone cry with a song about what really happened. That was magical.

@Thebratdragon @Deglassco As early as 1949, Ella was canceling shows at venues that insisted on audience segregation. This was a targeted effort.

@rbreich Facsist must be barred from positions of public trust for the same reason that communists are barred. They can not, with sincerity, swear an oath to defend the Constitution.

@StillIRise1963 The asterisk refers to him asking for and receiving Russian government help when he sought the republican nomination and then ran for president in 2015-16. It is analogous to getting a record number of homers while using steroids. Yes, you broke the record, but you cheated so you get an asterisk because the accomplishment doesn't really count.
