Einen Blick Wert ist auch SubwayTooter (ST)!

ST erlaubt zugleich auf mehreren Instanzen angemeldet zu sein. IMO ein Killer Feature wenn man z.B. auf Mastodon und Pixelfeed zugleich arbeitet. Einfach einen weiteren Tab mit der anderen Instanz und gut ist.

SubwayTooter kommt meiner Meinung nach fedilab am nächsten.

Auch wenn SubwayTooter nicht wie Fedilab eine App für das Fediverse insgesammt ist.

Aber nicht zugleich!
Ein tolles Feature will man gerade zw. zwei instanzen hin und her springen. Kommt bei Pixelfeed/Friendica und Mastodon/Calckey schon mal öfter vor.

Was allen übrigens fehlt ist ein eigenständiger Tab für das Edit Fenster.
Jedesmal muss ich einen Post erst als Entwurf speichern will ich was nachrecherchieren, voll nervig!

Ich beginne gerade Nachtzüge immer mehr zu lieben. Weil sie wirklich flexible Reisen möglich machen:

Ich muss bald nach Frankreich, mit Interview in Paris und Toulouse. Irgendwo übernachten muss ich eh, die Strecke ist lang. Flug scheidet aus. Also: Nachtzug!

Der SNCF Train de Nuit fährt 21:42 ab und ist 7:07 in Toulouse. Ich kann da den ganzen Tag Gespräche führen, abends steige ich wieder ein. Einigermaßen ausgeruht kann ich am nächsten Morgen direkt in Paris weiterarbeiten.

Ich hatte im Nachtzug immer ein kleines Reisekissen mit. Zuvor hat mein Schatz das Haupt einige Zeit drauf gebettet. Daher war es voll mit narkotisierenden Pheromonen.
Hab jedesmal geschlafen wie ein Siebenschläfer im Winter!

jeden tag ein anderer kloß mit einer anderen soß

aber irgendwie sind die klöße nicht billiger oder besser als andere gerichte

    Just read that .social defederated at least one major server (the biggest UK instance) preventing their users interacting and exchanging with each other. Not sure how this walled bubble approach fits in with the enthusiastic attempts to place calckey.social as some kind of mainstream alternative to , but the Calckey grandees may know... I am off for good, I like to make my own decisions on a server with mature and non-arbitrary admin policies. @fediversenews

    IMO the Fediverse is made for many small instances of approx. 1k to 10k users.
    E.g. regional instances on a certain field(s) of interest. Those regional instances federated to bigger 'cities', 'counties',...

    So the last step of mastodon suggesting mastodon.social as instance without mentioning others is contraproductive.

    It would be a better choice to favour regions or interest groups over one 'monster instance'.

    I keep seeing these posts about how mastodon is hostile to black people and every time I start looking trying to figure out if I'm not black enough or if I'm just oblivious? I inevitably stumble across the thread that kicked off the current dialogue and I'm like, oh okay. But I wish some of the other stuff would also get the same traction and attention. Black people are talented and funny AF on social media, even on . I would like to find it easier.
