We’re looking to buy a place in (because renting here is nigh on impossible these days) so I approached a mortgage broker and they just got back to me with this gem:

    Would you say that Dune is more fantasy or sf? I know that its genre is meant to be sf but I wonder if the epic dimension and some other elements are not giving it fantasy-like aspect... Disclaimer I haven't read it for a long time and I don't even think that I finished. Actually the story does not have an end, right?

    I was lucky enough to be with my ex who was, still is an avid reader. He was the one who helped me discover Anne Mc Caffrey and the dragons stories... 😊

    if Threads starts supporting nodeinfo they will start showing up in the fediverse instance trackers automatically unless we block it proactively: looking at you the-federation.info and fedidb.org

    @codinghorror I have been here for 3 years and as a noobie, not working in IT THIS is the social network that has always given me 100 times more answers and connections that I ever had with the centralised ones...
    So to those who says it's too small I think I prefer this smallness and actual real contact of this one that the appearance and promise (but never fulfilled) of the other.

    @maiwann voui et je suis en train de regarder ta vidéo...

    Par contre, dommage de ne voir que Github comme choix car pas super sécure. C'est pour ça que pas mal en sont parti pour aller chez Gitlab...

    Mais j'aime la simplicité et j'utilise md depuis pas mal de temps déjà. Obsidian est PKM préféré.

    Hey Maitané, il y a un petit moment, on avait la possibilité chez Framasoft, de faire un site avec Grav / PrettyNoemie.
    Je ne me rend pas compte à quel point le site était léger ou pas au niveau des ressources, mais aussi à quel point ça exigeait des ressources humaines.mais il était très intéressant, niveau "Theme Customization", par exemple.
