Why I prefer reading blogs to and am looking forward to their networking. I'm not sure if Medium authors remember this is the first impression that many of their blogs will see-- a good part of the page covered with a popover.

@markstos It’s a bit frustrating. This is the screenshot of me viewing an article on my phone earlier following a shortened url on Mastodon post. community, can we do BETTER?

Using inline events handlers inside vanilla side project is kinda nice, what do you think? Love the freedom and joy of writing vanilla .

Hello friends, do you have any book recommendations for software development with php?

I see this statement: "zoom in up to 400% without the text spilling off the screen." and I tested my personal site on 400% and it looks horrible. What about yours? If your site looks good on 400%, please comment as I would love to see it.

@aardrian Hi Adrian, wow didn’t expect to see your reply here. My bad, I should’ve studied WCAG more before posting that. I will surely spend lots of time on your site.

heybran,
@heybran@mastodon.online avatar

@aardrian So so sorry, wrong wording, please ignore my last comment. What I meant (hope I get it right this time) was as a student of accessibility, I’m surprised to receive a comment from someone so renowned as you. Back to the original question, I was reading this 400% value from https://design-system.service.gov.uk/accessibility/ and I’m not sure what viewport that 400% is matching. So it is really irresponsible of me to post the question without providing more context.

@noellemitchell Yah, so much to learn, especially semantic HTML.

@noellemitchell Glad you’re having fun. I would also recommend this axe DevTools chrome extension that can evaluate the accessibility of your markup, really useful.

I've just started learning and oh my days there seems to be a lot of ways to boilerplate this. Should I just use ? It looks like I'd need a bundler which seems overkill for my tiny site.

Also, are there any good courses around?

    heybran,

@Jbasoo Here’s few resources that I collected when I was starting to learn Web Components. https://github.com/heybran/web-components-resources

Doing a bit of from scratch for the first time in a while and remembering that form inputs do not inherit font styles by default. Very odd decision

@joelanman Same goes for button element if I remember it correctly?

Shameless Plug: Cucumber Components is an ongoing project I'm working on for the past few months. It is built with without TypeScript & any external dependencies so it’s super friendly to beginners to get involved. If you’re new to Web Components and also a fan of vanilla JavaScript like me, feel free to check out this project. Although, please note that there are probably a million things I did wrong on this project.

made their Firefox extension require access to Private mode; they borked their extension in an attempt to invade our privacy.

I will look for another VPN provider if they do not correct this action. I'm a customer of 6.5 years.

@_benui @leetNightshade Same here, used Proton before. They’re privacy focused, like for real.

Wrote a minimal base class for creating my custom elements easily, so I only have to define the template and observed attributes. :)

It's , but I want to put a little twist on it:

Do you have a blog with an feed?
    Do you write about ?

Because I'd like to follow you and your feed :)

@horuskol Previously worked with vanilla Web Components at my last job, currently working on vanilla Web Components projects and also actively seeking Web Components developer role. Also trying to implement Web Components on a Wordpress plugin, nah, need to learn some PHP first :welp:
