TFW you're so close to having something working, but it's not. You have a thousand tabs open with man pages, forums and SO but can't quite get it over the line. Anyone running with a share in a jail, and know why I can /see/ it on the network, but can't access it as a guest?

Just spotted the #shrinkflation in Nesquik because we've ended up with two unopened packs:

Middle: 2023, 400g
Right: 2024, New format(!), 350g

@cory @jake4480 I think the issue is that somewhere in the US there's (another?) idiot called Henry Leach, who doesn't know his email address, and signs up for things with mine. I've had various other, more direct and private emails to that effect, but he's also signed up for campaigns or something.

I think it's probably time to get a new laptop, my old MacBook Pro is on its last legs as a daily driver. I bought it new in mid 2013, so it's done well.

  1. 'Still' meaning the graphics card went four years ago, but I managed to replace the logic board with one bought from a matching broken MBP I saw on local ads for cheap.

This is my skull’s fingerprint.

In 2019 I needed to have a brainscan. My brother mentioned that I could request a digital copy of my scan which has sat on my computer unopened since then.

Turns out that the skull is made out of three plates which join together and create unique fingerprint-like patterns of waves. This is mine across the top of my head; I think I could stitch some other images together to see the two others but that’s trickier!

Small drama today: between going to collect the children from nursery and coming back (20 minutes) two cars had crashed on the curve of the road outside our house. Didn't seem too bad, but had police, ambulance and fire brigade there.
