People get so cranky at Black folk for pointing out the irrefutable evidence that Biden's Covid policies got a lot of people long Covid, and caused a lot of other people to die of Covid unnecessarily.

You can get mad at me. You can yell "Trump is worse!" until your voice gets hoarse. I'm not talking about Trump. I'm talking about pandemic decisions made during this administration.

@mekkaokereke there’s a lot of low self-esteem and worry carried behind the “Trump is worse!” rhetoric. Cause they know, deep down, that Biden’s disappointing “compromises” to appease conservative or moderate voters, just makes him more likely to lose to Trump.

The Dem party hasn’t learned its lesson from 2016: when you put forth a disappointing centrist candidate against a straight up fascist. The fear of what the fascist will do won’t be enough to sway voters. Disappointment doesn’t draw out votes, a candidate who inspires hope does.

Okay, all you open source evangelist people: your knee-jerk reaction to come at people who are talking about a problem with whatever commercial software they use and suggest Your Favorite Alternatives™ is exactly like saying "why don't you just buy a house?" to someone complaining about their landlord.

Tho I’m sorry to say your videos have inspired its own minor league of evangelists. On social media, if someone complains about dishwashers or heat pumps, I see at least one replier mention tech connections. It’s not at the level of FOSS sealioning…yet.

9/11 was a terrorist attack that killed thousands of US citizens. But Iraqi children didn't commit 9/11. Using white phosphorus against kids is a war crime. Intentionally denying kids water is a war crime. Indefinitely locking up "enemy combatants" without charge is a human rights violation.

Upgrading your iPhone sucks

  1. I had to manually update iOS on my Mac to the newest version so I could transfer all my stuff from my old iPhone. There is no forward compatibility

  2. My Apple Watch wasn't included in this transfer, I had to fully unpair and wipe the Apple Watch to get it to work with my current phone. This sucks I just set everything up for WatchOS10 and none of that was backed up on iCloud because reasons

  3. For some reason your esim doesn't transfer along with the rest of your files, so I had to contact my phone company and battle with that for hours (and I still don't have phone service)

I think the trick is to just buy an iPhone new and just wait as long as possible to upgrade. I have no idea how people upgrade their iPhone EVERY YEAR it's actually hell
