I had another interview for the assessment yesterday and I got to do an IQ test.

"Twice exceptional" he said.

Huh. Ok. I don't know what to make of that.

I didn't ask about the exact score but I guess it'll be noted in whatever summary this concludes in.

I wasn't sure if I should write about it here. I don't want to parade it and I don't like the expectations that I perceive it would bring (PDA much?), but it's part of my journey, so... there you have it.

Every time someone asks for feedback I do a calibration. What level do they want?

L0: praise. “You did great!”
L1: small. “That font could be larger”
L2: medium. “Your story would be stronger if you ran these other simulations.”
L3: large. “Your need for external validation is preventing you from being decisive.”
L4: existential. “Your field is steadily becoming irrelevant. There is no ethical consumption under capitalism. We’re decaying into fascism. None of this matters.”

I'm having a really strange meltdown as I am processing the idea of having to stop watching youtube because of their forced advertizement and I cant... I been wathcing for years since boycotting Twitch for Twich was my youtube replacement and Id idnt wanna watch comany that let autism speaks make profits and I am in flaiiling arms typing this what I need my audible visible entertainment but I cant afford their premium nor afford to let ads be thrust in my eyes because meltdowns hurt

@GreenRoc On PC and Firefox Adblock Plus still works well for me. A friend recommended also SponsorBlock, but I didn't check it yet (this one is not so disturbing for me as the ads).

A lot of newer art is made with AI. I wonder if this is a useful practice. A lot of this art is randomly green stuff on lots of circular modern style buildings and lots of solar panels.

One thing that living systems have is a functional purpose. We see a lot of that in vernacular architecture too. I wonder if it's good to imagine a future that is based on random probabilities and not on context.

It's fast and good looking results, but the lack of thought behind it concerns me.

Versuche mit Pomodoro-Technik Dinge zu erledigen. Klappt natürlich nicht. Funktioniert das irgendwann wenn ich es weiter versuche? Oder ist Pomodoro für neurotypische Menschen gedacht?

@nin80 Yeah, that might be a neurotypycal thing. Have you tried a declining pomodoro? That's probably the only one that works for my AuDHD brain sometimes.

This is how bread week of the Great British Bake Off finished in this house.

I'm not a bread person, either making or eating (unless it's garlic flavoured and then YES), so I'm pretty pleased with this! Rosemary and pepper white loaf. It didn't prove very well but still came out okay. Not bad for a first attempt.
